Atomic Clocks
Home > Atomic Clocks

Atomic clocks receive a radio signal from the Caesium atomic clock, the world's most precise clock, accurate to 1 second in 1 million years. The signal is encoded so that it can be transmitted in longwave radio form. The signal originates from the WWVB transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado and is transmitted on a frequency of 60 kHz. The atomic clocks contain an antenna and internal program to receive and decode the radio signal. It is then uses the data to display the precise time.

Howard Miller - Incomparable workmanship. Unsurpassed quality. A quest for perfection. It’s what Howard C. Miller insisted on when he founded the company back in 1926, at the age of 21. Even then, Howard Miller understood the need to create products that would be steeped in quality and value. He expected nothing less than the best. And it was only under those strict conditions that he allowed his name to grace every clock manufactured at our sprawling facility in Zeeland, Michigan. No matter the price of the purchase, you have the same assurance that Howard C. Miller provided when he began offering clocks more than 70 years ago: That quality be reflected both in the products we create, and in the people whose artistic talents we rely on to manufacture them. The legacy left by Howard C. Miller isn't an easy one to emulate. But it's the only way we know of doing business. Incomparable workmanship. Unsurpassed quality. A quest for perfection. - http://www.howardmiller.com/
Junghans - Inventiveness and the pursuit of precision are the keys to the success of Junghans watches since the company was founded in 1861. The demands placed on timepieces have changed over the years, but the Junghans philosophy has remained the same. The unique combination of the traditional watchmaking craft, the pursuit of innovations, and a fusing of modernity and tradition continue to shape the work of Junghans today themed "From Tradition To Future". Making use of not only traditional and ultra-modern technology in products of high value but also often a polarizing design provides the brand Junghans with an unique position on the international market. The brand Junghans is synonymous with high quality standards at best value. Junghans was, is and will be in future THE German watch brand. - http://junghans.de/
